It has been 10 days since the opening of the much anticipated Fantasy Faire and it’s sad to see how quickly those 10 days flew by. I have not managed to blog nearly as much as I had intended to, similar to last year, but I most definitely wanted to bring some last minute attention to the Faire. Continue reading →
Funky glasses and other statement pieces led to the creation of two unique outfits for Cyanna and me. We shot these ultra sassy stylings a couple of days ago but I unfortunately had not had the chance to post them yet. You might forgive me when I tell you why I had been MIA, though that is currently best kept secret (I am such a tease!). Continue reading →
Christmas is almost here and I have spent the past few days wrapping presents and watching cheesy Christmas movies with my roommates. I recently also had the pleasure of meeting my dear friend Cyanna Starsmith in-world for the very first time and snapping this festive picture of us. Cyanna has her own blog called Shop ’til Drop. She is incredibly stylish and takes dazzling photo’s to showcase her daily looks. To keep up with her wonderful stylings and work, make sure you follow her blog as well as Flickr.
Les Encantades recently released this festive outfit and it is absolutely adorable. It comes with a jacket, dress, collar and garters and is available in several different colours. You can find this sweet outfit at the Les Encantades mainstore.
“Lemme hear you say
Can’t keep it bottled up
Make it pop like pink champagne
In the purple rain
We’re gonna paint the city
We’re gonna show off all our pretty
Let ’em know our names.
Screamin’ so loud
They’ll hear us in LA” – Ariana Grande, Pink Champagne
Admittedly, I have never had a girls night out. Perhaps it is due to the lack of youthful adventurism in my life or because I am far too introverted for such wild social events.
I’m not quite the party animal, unfortunately. My “squad” (10 points for millennial slang) and I would much rather spend a girls night in, watching scary movies and playing video games with a wide assortment of unhealthy snacks. However, I recently did have a virtual girls night out. Accompanied by the lovely Hara, we hit the SL town and stirred up some trouble!
I am wearing a jacket by Pixicat, which I purchased during their recent sale. In case you missed it, no worries! There are still plenty of other sales to spend all of your Lindens on, most of which are listed on the Seraphim sale tab. Besides that, I am also using The Sugar Garden‘s most recent release, which is an applier for the Catwa Catya bento head (that remains a tongue twister for me). Finally, I added a deep red lipstick by Arte to create a somewhat more sensual look.
Hara set up this incredible scene, using various items from The Horror! at The Arcade. Make sure you check out her blog for further information. It was great to see her again and take a photo together. I truly love collaborating with this beautiful lady and always have a wonderful time. Thank you, Hara-bear, for all of your loveliness and friendship ♥
The Kawaii Project has gone full kowai for the Halloween season. As much as I love the usual adorability of The Kawaii Project, it was most definitely nice and refreshing to see what the designers came up with for the spooky month of October.
Moon Elixir came out with the perfect ensemble for any sassy witch. The outfit comes with a kimono, additional hood and is available in multiple colours. Furthermore I am also wearing a pair of boots by Dilly Dolls, of which there is also a ligher, more kawaii version available. Boots are in my opinion a must for the autumn season. Whether you are planning to witch it up or enjoy the season of golden leaves and pumpkin spice casually, boots will keep you comfortable and cozy during these times of flourishing cold and rain.
To top it off, I am wearing a ravishing witch’s hat by Astralia, combined with a bewitching hairdo by Love Hair. A witch’s look is most certainly incomplete without a touch of magic thus I used one of the enchanting poses by Glamrus which you can, once more, find at The Kawaii Project.
