The Annex released the Pointsettia headpiece at Winter Solstice. It comes in several colours, all of which are equally and uniquely beautiful. Remember that Winter Solstice is closing on the 19th, after which the headpiece will return to the mainstore. For more information regarding Winter Solstice, please refer to my Winter Solstice post.
Coincidentally, the photo I made for my Winter Solstice post was also my first black and white image, which leads me to the second subject I wanted to address in this blog post. I received a surprising amount of positive feedback on that certain image, mostly in regards to the black and white aspect of it. Admittedly, that image was supposed to be uploaded in colour. However, I felt as if there was something off about it. I switched the tones to monotone, just to see how it looked, and was surprised by the outcome. After a few more minutes of tweaking this new image, I finished it; my first black and white image.
After uploading the monotone image, I felt inspired to do more. So here it is, my second black and white image. I am probably being way too excited about this but I can’t help it. It always gives me such a thrill to discover something new, may it be music, a hobby or a photography technique. I had a lot of fun editing this though and am, for once, quite satisfied with the result. I hope you all like it just as much because I can guarantee that 2017 will be filled with even more monotone images as I start capturing the world through a different filter.

A great thing about photography is that there is always space for collaboration. I recently got together with my dear friend Exis to shoot a photo of this wonderfully cozy outfit by MSS, which you can currently find at On9.
This month’s theme for On9 is Grand Holiday Party. It is a round filled with glitz and glam and it’s simply fabulous. Check out the shopping guide on the On9 blog for a full overview of the December exclusives.
Hara recently invited me to join her, Aaron and Will for a photoshoot. Naturally, I had to accept the invite and I was incredibly happy I did. It was a blast! I had so much fun and I am already looking forward to our next collab. Thanks for the fun time, my sweet friends!
Neve is a clothing line by coldLogic, founded in 2015. Their garments support most mesh bodies and come with low impact HUD’s which makes it easy to customize the items. Neve by coldLogic has recently become one of my favorite brands/clothing lines. For this photo, I am wearing the pull-over outfit and I absolutely love it. It fits well and looks incredibly cozy. If you would like to stay updated on Neve’s newest releases, I recommend you follow them on Flickr and on their blog.
Before I end this post, I would like to share some Christmas tunes. It is not your traditional Christmas carol, but it surely is catchy. On that note, I would like to wish you all happy holidays. May they be filled with love, joy and lots of good food! ♥
Pale Girl Productions is the company behind a couple of big and exciting events, such as Skin Fair. For this winter, they got together with Empyrean Forge to revamp the Mystic Realms Faire into the new Winter Solstice in the Mystic Realms event. It is a winter fantasy event though with over a 100 vendors and participating designers from all kinds of genres, I am sure anyone would be able to find something that suits their style.
The Angel dress by The Annex was my inspiration for this photo. There was just something about it that captured my attention. Its festive and angelic features simply dazzled me. You can find this dress at the current round of We Love Roleplay.
The December round of WLRP is filled with a variety of magical and mystical goodies, most of which are winter themed. The wintery exclusives of the December round have all been listed in the official shopping guide. What I also deem quite helpful is the shopping map, which lists the locations of all the booths and designers. This makes it a lot easier to navigate around the event and to find the items you are looking for.
